Meet the Team

Darrell Calhoun is the Owner of DWC Property Group and founded the company based on firsthand experience as a real estate investor and rental property owner. After owning and managing several rental properties, Darrell repeatedly encountered a common frustration within the industry: management fees being charged without clear explanations or work being completed. As an owner, it was often unclear what those fees represented, why they were necessary, or how they truly benefited the property or the resident.
That experience became the catalyst for creating DWC Property Group. Darrell set out on a mission to build a property management company rooted in transparency, accountability, and clarity—where every fee has a defined purpose, every charge is documented, and all costs make sense to both owners and tenants. This commitment to transparency is the cornerstone of the company’s mission.
In addition to his real estate and property management background, Darrell is a police officer. His law enforcement experience has heavily influenced how the company operates, emphasizing discipline, risk mitigation, documentation, and calm decision-making under pressure. These principles are embedded into DWC Property Group’s culture and daily operations.
Darrell’s long-term vision is to build an all-encompassing property services company that caters to both owners and tenants. Beyond traditional property management, DWC Property Group aims to provide integrated solutions such as insurance coordination, maid and cleaning services, lawn and exterior care, HOA assistance, and a comprehensive suite of concierge services. The goal is to simplify ownership, enhance the resident experience, and create a trusted, centralized resource for everything related to rental property ownership.
As Owner, Darrell is committed to building a scalable, high-integrity company that delivers consistent value through transparency, service, and operational excellence.

Mary Calhoun serves as the Office Manager for DWC Property Group and plays a critical role in keeping the company’s daily operations organized, efficient, and client-focused. With a professional background in medical billing and administrative operations, Mary brings a high level of accuracy, process discipline, and attention to detail to the management of company workflows.
In her role, Mary oversees office administration, documentation, billing coordination, and internal systems to ensure smooth communication between owners, residents, vendors, and the DWC team. She is often the backbone behind timely follow-ups, clean records, and consistent execution—helping ensure that nothing falls through the cracks.
Mary’s strengths lie in organization, compliance, and operational support. She approaches her role with a calm, methodical mindset and a strong commitment to professionalism and service. Her ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy allows DWC Property Group to operate at a high standard and scale responsibly.
As Office Manager, Mary is instrumental in supporting the company’s mission of transparency, accountability, and proactive property management.

Brokerage: First-In Realty
Dustin Dean serves as the Managing Broker for DWC Property Group, providing brokerage oversight, regulatory compliance, and strategic guidance across the company’s leasing and transactional activities. He operates through his brokerage, First-In Realty, ensuring all real estate operations are conducted in accordance with Texas Real Estate Commission standards and best practices.
With over 20 years of experience as a career firefighter, Dustin brings a leadership style rooted in discipline, accountability, and decisive problem-solving. His public-service background translates directly into his role as Managing Broker, where attention to detail, risk management, and clear communication are critical. He is deeply familiar with operating in high-pressure environments and applies that same structured approach to real estate brokerage and compliance.
At DWC Property Group, Dustin is responsible for broker supervision, policy implementation, contract oversight, and supporting agents and staff in maintaining consistent, professional standards. He plays a key role in aligning brokerage operations with the company’s mission of transparency, owner protection, and ethical management.

Aaron Dickey serves as the Maintenance Coordinator for DWC Property Group and brings over 20 years of experience as a career firefighter to the role. His background in emergency response, safety, and high-pressure decision-making directly informs how he manages maintenance operations—prioritizing urgency, clear communication, and doing the job correctly the first time.
At DWC Property Group, Aaron oversees day-to-day maintenance coordination, including work order intake, vendor dispatch, follow-ups, and quality control. He acts as the central point of contact between residents, vendors, and the internal team to ensure repairs are handled efficiently, documented properly, and completed to standard. He also focuses on identifying recurring issues, supporting preventative maintenance planning, and protecting the long-term condition of each property.
Aaron’s firefighting career has instilled a strong sense of accountability, preparedness, and problem-solving under pressure. He approaches maintenance with the same mindset—assessing the situation, coordinating the right resources, and ensuring a safe and effective resolution.
As a 20-year fire service veteran and Maintenance Coordinator, Aaron plays a key role in delivering reliable, responsive maintenance support while upholding DWC Property Group’s commitment to professionalism, transparency, and operational excellence.
